Return & Refund Policy

This policy applies to all molds (tooling) and mass-production products manufactured by AccuMolds. Given the highly customized nature of our engineering and manufacturing services, please review these terms carefully before proceeding with an order.

1. Mold (Tooling) Orders

Custom-Made Products

All molds are custom-engineered and precision-manufactured to customer-specific requirements. Once the fabrication process begins, mold orders are non-cancelable and non-refundable. It is the customer's sole responsibility to verify and sign off on all technical drawings, CAD data, and material specifications prior to production.

Conditional Returns or Refunds

AccuMolds will only consider a return, repair, or refund under the following limited circumstances:

  • Manufacturing Defects: A verified major structural or material defect exists that was not caused by customer misuse or improper storage.
  • Specification Deviation: The final mold deviates from the final approved design in a material and uncorrectable manner.
  • Legal Requirement: As mandated by applicable local commercial laws.

Note: All claims are subject to a technical audit and verification by the AccuMolds engineering team.

Non-Returnable Situations

Returns, cancellations, or refunds will not be accepted in the following cases:

  • Changes in project scope, budget limitations, or change of mind
  • Errors caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated drawings or data provided by the customer
  • Damage caused by normal wear and tear
  • Improper maintenance or storage
  • Use outside the mold’s intended design parameters or cycle life

How to Initiate a Claim

To submit a claim, customers must:

  1. Contact AccuMolds in writing within 7 business days of discovering the issue
  2. Provide order details, photographs, videos, and relevant supporting documentation
  3. Obtain written authorization from AccuMolds before returning any item

Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

If the issue is confirmed to be AccuMolds’ responsibility, return shipping costs will be covered by AccuMolds. Otherwise, shipping costs remain the customer's responsibility.

Refunds

Approved claims may be resolved through one of the following methods:

  • Repair of the mold
  • Replacement of the mold
  • Partial refund
  • Full refund (where applicable)

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 30 business days after inspection and final approval.

2. Mass-Production Products

This section applies to parts produced using approved molds, whether owned by AccuMolds or supplied by the customer.

When Returns May Be Accepted

Returns, replacements, refunds, or credits may be approved under the following conditions:

  • A confirmed batch-level manufacturing defect
  • Products do not match the approved samples or specifications
  • Errors in shipping, packing, or quantity caused by AccuMolds

When Returns Are Not Accepted

Returns or refunds will not be accepted for the following situations:

  • Defects caused by customer-supplied molds or product design
  • Changes requested by the customer that were not approved in writing
  • Minor cosmetic variations within normal quality standards
    (including parting lines, minor color variations, or surface marks)
  • Customer order errors, excess inventory, or project cancellation
  • Products that have been installed, used, modified, or processed, except for quality inspection or testing


Return Process

Customers must:

  1. Notify AccuMolds in writing within 15 business days of receiving the products
  2. Provide defect details, photographs, videos, and batch identification numbers
  3. Obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) before returning any products

Note: Returns without an RMA will not be accepted.

Resolution

If AccuMolds is determined to be responsible, we may provide one or more of the following remedies:

  • Replacement products
  • Product rework or repair
  • Partial or full refund
  • Store credit

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 30 business days after final inspection and approval.
